Midlands Indoor Rowing Championships

22 Apr

The sun is shining, the weather and water are warming, daylight savings has added an hour to our evenings, and it is time to emerge from the bowels of the gym and winter land training.  The unofficial coda to the indoor rowing season concluded today with the Midland Indoor Rowing Championships. It is the last major adaptive indoor rowing competition on the calendar (the Southwest Indoor Championships are in a couple of weeks, and while I suspect that they would welcome adaptive entries, they are not currently advertising them nor have they appeared to have held them in the past).

Once again, the Marlow junior adaptives came out in force and nearly all set personal bests. They were joined by a two senior rowers including Alice Mason of the GB Development Squad.
