World Virtual Indoor Rowing Championships 2019

Globalisation and the digital revolution have come to the sport of rowing with Concept2’s 2019 World Rowing Virtual Indoor Sprints. Concept2 organised an online competition using the Logbook facility of their website for rowers around the world to pit their best erg times against each other…

  • Race 1000 meters on the Concept2 Indoor Rower at your home, club, gym, school or at an organised event. Post your time to the Concept2 Online Logbook.”

The virtual event attracted 91 adaptive rowers from USA, Great Britain, Spain, Canada, France, Armenia, Lithuania, Belarus, Russia, Australia, French Polynesia, and Netherlands. made a solid showing with 3 category wins (see below) as well as a clean sweep of the top 3 places in the Womens PR3 19-49 by the current members of the GB Pararowing Development Squad. Congrats also for top Junior finishes by Marlow’s Sebastian Johnson and Georgia Walker…
