British Rowing features a profile on Amelia Jones, junior PR3-PD at Marlow RC, in their August newsletter out today (unfortunately only available to British Rowing members). She was a prominent rower at Great Marlow School until she suffered a brain hemorrhage last year. Now she is back on the water, and as her mother says, “Rowing has ‘given her a purpose… she’s always smiling when she’s in a boat.” The piece covers her odyssey as a young rower and her perspectives on adaptive rowing as someone relatively new to that side of the sport.
