The Grosvenor Cup at Women’s Henley Regatta is probably the highest profile event in pararowing held in the UK if you go by cachet and cheering crowds. The event has sometimes struggled to field the minimum slate of 3 competitors in order for it to be held, but this year a record 8 athletes entered making for the first ever heat/semi-final/final event ever. And the high-water marks just kept coming with two course records set in the first day.
The Grosvenor Cup is one of the headline races of the 2025 Womens Henley so it has featured prominently in a number of other pieces:
- Henley Women’s Regatta 2025 – The Grosvenor Cup for PR3 Singles Preview – JRN
- Record entry for the Grosvenor Cup: Para racing at Henley Women’s Regatta – British Rowing
- Saturday debrief: Record times for para-rowing at HWR – Henley Women’s Regatta
Congratulations to all of the competitors (see results below) and especially cup winner Amalia Sangiovanni Vincentelli from Rob Roy BC.
