And we’re off…well in the Thames Valley at least with the first adaptive regatta events of the season at Marlow Spring Regatta. The unfortunate cancellation of this year’s traditional Phyllis Court Time Trial put moved the kick off this weekend. Furthermore, the lack of timings from Phyllis Court meant a bit of extra approximation in the time handicapping, but all and all the races seem to be set pretty fairly. The clear blue skies and calm waters (and bit of on point organisation by the regatta workers) made a for an especially delightful day on the water.
